Residence Petronio was created in 2009 from an historic building,
formerly known as “Albergo Giuliani”.
The facility is the result of a careful restoration that preserved the outward appearance but completely renovated the interior design.

6 apartments on 6 floors, all linked by an elevator, each one decorated with great attention to details and characterized by intense colors and elegant furnishings. All apartments overlook Via Rizzoli, Bologna’s principal street, giving guests an exclusive view of the Two Towers, the most symbolic monument of the city. Residence Petronio’s enviable location allows guests to leave the apartment and find themselves in the beating heart of Bologna, surrounded by monuments and some of the most beautiful squares and churches. Every spot of Bologna’s city center is easily reachable by foot, making this aparthotel the ideal choice for a touristic vacation for couples or families, but also suitable for business trips where elegant settings in central locations are preferred.

Residence Petronio is located in the heart of Bologna’s historic city center, on the most central of its streets: via Rizzoli. All the apartments have a wonderful view on the monument symbol of the city: the two towers Asinelli and Garisenda. Few steps away we can find Piazza Maggiore, with its Nettuno fountain and the Cathedral of San Petronio. Just behind via Rizzoli, we can dive into the famous “Quadrilatero”, real core of the city, offering a great selection of quality food stores and exquisite jewelry. In the nearby University District, along with the Opera house “Teatro Comunale” and the ancient Conservatory, there are some interesting specialized bookstores. The close-by Basilica of Santo Stefano deserves a special mention: it is in fact a complex of seven religious buildings known by the name of “Sette Chiese” (Seven Churches) at the very end of one of Bologna’s most beautiful squares.

Reception service is available by appointment or at Residence Opera in Strada Maggiore 52, from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The apartments are also accessible with a built-in elevator.

Free Wi-Fi connection in all the apartments and common areas.
KEY-FREE ACCESS
Independent key-free access to the apartament. A personal code will be provided after booking.

Upon request, we provide high chairs, cribs and baby feeding sets.
